2025 Chicago Bears Draft Party

Each year during the first night of the NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears host a Draft Party at Soldier Field where fans can take part in on-field activities, meet their favorite players, and experience the excitement of the draft among other Bears fans. For 2025, the NFL provided a new art direction for the Draft in Green Bay, WI. I was tasked with designing an art direction for the Chicago Bears Draft Party that felt adjacent to what the league was designing but with more of a Chicago focus.

I started this process by studying the art direction made by the NFL as shown above and began the research process. I wanted to stick with using photo-realistic imagery as seen in the direction, but wanted to shift to using elements that felt more relevant to Chicago and the team itself. I landed on using actual Bear imagery and Chicago Stars with textures of the city and stadium sprinkled throughout the different designs.

These designs were used as a launch pad for the rest of the direction. From here, I designed all digital assets for the Chicago Bears Draft Party promotions and print materials for all signage at the event. Putting this look together gave me the chance to work with the Chicago Bears motion graphics animators, web designers, and social media designers on how to implement this look into their respective mediums while remaining consistent across all platforms.
